In today’s society, we must empower our youth to be the visionary leaders of our future. WISE Talks is the first international public speaking platform where young students can develop their communication, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and public speaking skills while at the same time cultivating their Muslim identity. Participants will develop confidence and eloquence by identifying and articulating emerging social issues.

In this yearlong program, students will learn to build proposals, research content, formulate a speech, articulate their views, and influence others to take action. Students in grades 5 – 12 will learn about challenges affecting their communities and find solutions to make a positive change.

Students will participate in two rounds of competition, the first of which will take place in their own school and community, and the second round where finalists will compete at the annual WISE Conference. In 2024, the finals will be held in December during a summit in Najaf. We look forward to seeing everyone in January 2024 in Karbala, Iraq.
